Material Requirement Planning (MRP)

The Sage MAS 90 and Sage MAS 200 Material Requirements Planning (MRP) module is used to maintain sufficient on-hand materials based on supply and demand. In this class you will learn the fundamental of how this application can be used to reduce material costing and improve efficiency throughout your manufacturing or distribution operation. By the end of the 1/2 day course, you will be able to:

Enter projected demands for current and future calendar years

Calculate item requirements based on data contained in other areas of your system

Automatically generate and modify work orders

Review the MRP report for recommendations on material needs

Prerequisites: Prior attendance in the Introduction to Sage MAS 90 and Sage MAS 200 and Inventory Management, Inventory Management, Bill of Materials, and Work Order training classes or equivalent knowledge
